Amidst Yelagiri's tranquil hills, the SEC - Saveetha Engineering College - Alumni Meet (Jan. 27th to 28th, 2024) was a spectacular reunion! A blend of nostalgia and joy, the event sparkled with campfire, music, and dance, enchanting alumni and kids with special activities.

The Voice over of Alumni -2023 is an event for old relationships to be cherished, celebrated, and refreshed and new ones to be formed. It is a time of reflecting, remembering the good old times and memories of the Alumni and looking forward with a sense of purpose and anticipation.
A Voice over of Alumni -2023 was organized by Department of ECE, Saveetha Engineering College, Thandalam on 05th February 2022. The date and time of the meet was well publicized and beforehand preparations were made for the success of the meet in KALAM HALL,CSE DEPARTMENT, SAVEETHA ENGINEERING COLLEGE.
Our Head of the Department Dr.Srigitha S Nath, welcomed all the dignitaries. She also thank the the Guest alumni Ms.Ramya sekar for responding to the invitation from department and being present for the alumni meet in spite of her busy schedule. She then proceeded with presenting the memento arranged on behalf of alumni association to the guest.
Session started with shared cherishable moments in life of Ms.Ramya sekar as she is the first batch of SEC that motivates the students in their academic and personal life. She discussed with students to discover their strength and desires and told innovative ideas to proceed further for achieving their desires. Finally, event went with student positive feedback and ended.
The session on "Creating an Effective Resume" covers crucial elements for crafting a standout resume, including choosing the right format, incorporating contact information, and writing a captivating summary. It advises showcasing work experience and achievements chronologically, highlighting education, and creating a skills section. The inclusion of certifications, projects, awards, and maintaining consistent formatting is emphasized.
The "How to Prepare for an Interview" segment emphasizes researching the company, understanding job responsibilities, practicing interview questions, and demonstrating confidence and positive body language. Additionally, sending a timely thank-you email is recommended.
The "Tell Me About Yourself" approach is outlined, spanning introduction, education, professional experience, skills, interest in the company, personal interests, and conclusion, using the S.E.A.T. structure.
The discussion acknowledges a favorable current job market and offers insights into job searching through both traditional and remote job platforms.
The Department of EEE conducted an Alumni Talk for the Learners on "Entrepreneurship and New Product Development".

The Department of EIE organized an Alumni Talk on 'Generative AI and Training Modern Ta for the learners of II, III and final year EIE.

Mohammed Hasan M, Associate Software Engineer, Light and Wonder, Chennai and Sheshadri V, Software Developer, Avasoft, Chennai shared the Placement tips, Resume-building techniques and the importance of professional profile updates on LinkedIn. They advised learners to actively participate in Hackathons and Project Contests to broaden their knowledge.
The 'Alumni Meet' on the 74th Republic Day saw an overwhelming turnout of over 100 alumni.
✨ Alumni were also taken to the 10 Crore worth of cutting-edge AR/VR, Industrial Robotics, Mobile Robotics and 3D Printing labs. Demonstrations of the technology and a brief overview of how the technology works were given.
✨ There were also various games and activities for the Alumni to take part in. A heartful thanks to Alumni for their contribution to the college’s growth and development.
